Scouts
Guided Tours, Planetarium Show, and Activity ClassesMuseum tours may be reserved for Scout troops during the weekday. Guided tours on the weekend are subject to tour guide availability. Groups may attend a planetarium show on weekdays or weekends. Activity classes are available weekdays, Tuesday - Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Activity classes are listed in the Education Guide. Boy Scout Merit BadgeSeveral Boy Scout badge programs are available and include: Aviation Merit BadgeTaught by aerospace instructors and volunteers of the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium, scouts rotate through a variety of educational workshops. The course meets the requirements for the Boy Scouts of America Aviation Merit Badge and includes:
Classes are held on a Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm or special arrangements. Classes must have at least 10 scouts. Reservations are required. Please have a couple of dates in mind when making reservations. Cub Scout Belt LoopScience Belt Loop, Astronomy Belt Loop, and Weather Belt Loop are offered. Scouts meet all of the requirements for the Belt Loop. Program is two hours in length and reservations are required. Academic Pin also available. Must have completed Belt Loop or complete Belt Loop and Pin requirements to obtain the Academic Pin.
Scout AdmissionFor information about Scout programs or to make a reservation, call 918.834.9900 x116 or education@tulsamuseum.org A minimum group size of ten participants is required to receive discounted rates. One chaperone per 10 Scouts is required. One person must submit payment at the time of your visit. Membership admission and coupons are not valid with the group programs. Admission rates and programs are subject to change at any time.
