There are several after school classes, clubs, one-day camps, and weekend adventures available throughout the year taught by certified teachers and volunteers. All staff, teachers, and volunteers are required to pass a background check. TASM Mission:To preserve Oklahoma's aerospace heritage and inspire science-based learning through discovery. Motto:Inspire children to aim for the stars!After School Classes:EXPLORING ENGINEERING Beginning Monday, January 14, the eight week fall course ends March 4. Learning how math, science, and technology play an important part of becoming an engineer is the serious side of learning about engineering. Building, disassembling, rebuilding, and inventing new designs are all parts of an engineer's life that are fun and exciting. Enroll in this fun-filled course to enhance your engineering skills.THE MAGIC OF SCIENCE! An after school science program that is experiment based and hands-on! Learn the magic of physics, chemistry, robotics, and outer space through implosions, explosions, and chemically adjusted forms of air and water in an exciting and unique venue.Designed for scientist in the first through fifth grades, the course is fun-packed and entertaining as well as educational. Robotics ClubRobotics club meets on Wednesdays from 5:30 until 7:00pm in the museum classroom. Jr. TASManiacs participated in competition on November 17 at Tulsa's Memorial High School and December 1 at Edmond's Santa Fe High School, receiving a trophy at both competitions. TASManiacs 1 and TASManiacs 2 participated in the local competition and both qualified for state competition. TASManiacs 1 won first place in teawork.
