Adult Tours

Plan an excursion for your adult group and discover Tulsa’s rich aviation history, explore the universe or enjoy an airplane or space shuttle simulation. Adult groups may tour the museum on their own or participate in a guided tour, planetarium show and/or various activity classes. Reservations must be made in advance for a guided tour and activity classes.

 

Tour

A docent will guide your group through Tulsa’s aviation history, discussing Tulsa’s earliest airport, the bomber building and the space program. Tour guides may lead the group through the museum or groups may be seated in an area as the guide points out the various exhibits.

Tours are available Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Advance reservations are required. Approximately 50 minutes in length.

Planetarium Show

Sit back, relax and watch the stars go by in the James E. Bertelsmeyer Planetarium theater. Planetarium shows are approximately 45 minutes in length. Make an advance reservation to reserve seating for your group.

Flight Simulator

Prepare for Take Off! A computer flight simulator program is used to experience the process of flying an airplane. Learn about the forces of flight, how to read flight instruments, take off and land an airplane. Seating limited. Class is available weekdays and reservations are required.
Duration: 50 minutes

Adult Group Admission

One person must submit payment at the time of your visit. Membership admission and coupons are not valid with the group programs. Classes require a minimum of 10 participants. Admission rates and programs are subject to change at any time.

Space Shuttle Mission

Space Shuttle Mission

Experience the importance of teamwork while preparing to launch a simulated Space Shuttle mission. Participating as a crew member or mission control specialist, individuals work as a group taking the same steps as NASA to launch the space shuttle. After the mission, the group discusses their team performance. This is an entertaining and educational program practicing teamwork. Class size is 6 to 18 participants.
