Spring Break at TASM

 

GET READY FOR SOME AMAZING MEMORIES AND SCIENTIFIC FUN AS SPRING BREAK LIFTS OFF AT THE TULSA AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM & PLANETARIUM!


It’s a week full of fun and educational events as the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium lifts-off Spring Break activities by featuring a new interactive exhibit, MEMORY.  Other exciting week-long activities include; interactive experiments and activities: sidewalk astronomy, flight simulator lab, “test drive” a SEGWAY, and open cockpit seating for visitors. And, don’t forget our unique outdoor playground where you can watch aircraft take-off and land.

 

 

 

 

Coloring Contest

 

TULSA AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM & PLANETARIUM, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SWEET TOOTH CANDY & GIFT COMPANY, IS GIVING AWAY A SWEET DEAL!  MAKE SURE THE KIDS ENTER THE “GET SPACED OUT” SPRING BREAK CONTEST FROM MARCH 1 – MARCH 25!


Two one-year tasm family memberships for two adults and up to six children each! Just let your creative juices flow to create your best "out of this world" drawing, painting or collage of how you get spaced out!
    •    Entries may be dropped off at Sweet Tooth at 3747 S Harvard between March 1 and March 25.
    •    All entrants will receive a free Astro Blaster candy, courtesy of Sweet Tooth.
    •    The winning entries will be chosen by TASM and will be displayed in the lobby of the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. Contest is open to K-5th graders.
    •    One winner will be chosen in each category: K-2nd grade and 3-5th grade.
 
PICK UP YOUR FREE ASTRO BLASTER WHEN YOU DROP OFF YOUR ENTRY AT SWEET TOOTH, THE OFFICIAL DROP OFF POINT FOR THE GET SPACED OUT CONTEST.

Tinkering                             

1st-4th Grades                                                   
Campers design and experiment using LEGO®, mini motors and paint. Tinkering allows campers to build and create many things!


Tuesday, March 15th            

Exploring the Skies             

1st-5th Grades                                                         
Campers experience the challenges and excitement that pilots face through flight simulation and actual cockpit environments.


Wednesday, March 16th         

Robotics                              

3rd-5th Grades                                                         
Robotics is an exciting way to explore imaginations while campers discover science and technology.  "Tech teams" invent, build and program robot(s) to navigate an obstacle course full of challenges.  Campers work as teams using LEGO® Mindstorms RCX.
